Overview
Pyro's Air Ride was a top-down shooter, and the first of PyroSoft's Air Ride games. PyroSoft's project timeline describes it as set in 1942, with period-appropriate aircraft and combat. It was distributed as a download on MvpZERO.com, a small community site that hosted PyroSoft's early games.
It was followed by two sequels, starting with Pyro's Air Ride 2, released on the community forums in September 2003, which itself received an expanded 2.1 upgrade in January 2004.
