Who operates this site

PyroSoft Productions, Inc., a Delaware corporation, operates pyrosoft.pro and its main-site account service. The responsible person is Michael Rodriguez-Thomas, publicly known as MikeTheTech. What these terms cover

These terms cover this website and its main-site accounts. GitLab, other product sites and third-party services have their own policies. A product-specific, store or open-source license takes precedence where it grants different rights. These terms do not take away rights already granted to existing buyers.

Legal age

You must be of the legal age required in your locale to use this service and enter a binding agreement. This is a condition of use; we do not operate an age-verification system.

Your account

You sign in with Google. We receive your verified identity details and, when provided, profile photo; we never receive your Google password. Keep your Google account secure. Your library shows supported purchases and licenses that the service has verified. It may not include every purchase from every store. Use only accounts and receipts you are entitled to use.

Google is the primary login. After explicitly linking itch.io from your Google-signed-in account, you may use itch.io as a secondary sign-in method for that same account. Use Google to manage the connection. We do not create a separate PyroSoft account from itch.io or merge accounts by matching email alone.

Purchases and other stores

Purchases currently take place on itch.io and the other stores linked from product pages. Direct PayPal, Paddle and Stripe checkout on this site is unavailable. Review the seller, price, tax, system requirements, license and refund terms at the store before paying. A catalog link or an account-library entry does not itself complete a purchase.

Software licenses

A software purchase grants a license to use the product, not ownership of its copyright. Our Software License describes new licenses issued under our own terms. Existing, product-specific, store-granted and open-source rights remain in place.

Refunds

Our voluntary 30-day policy for eligible PyroSoft and itch.io purchases uses private Discord support tickets. Steam and Unity Asset Store purchases follow their respective store refund policies. See Refunds. Mandatory consumer remedies are preserved.

Fair use and intellectual property

Do not misuse another person’s account or receipt, resell access without permission, bypass licensing restrictions that lawfully apply, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code or infringe others’ rights. Respect reasonable rate limits. You may link to public pages. Our content and marks remain ours or their licensors’; open-source licenses preserve the rights they grant.

Account closure

You may stop using the site and request account deletion at support@pyrosoft.pro. We verify the request before acting. Removing account and licensing records can affect software that relies on them; we will explain the consequences before completing deletion. Records retained for accounting, security or legal reasons are handled under our privacy policy.

We may restrict access for a serious or repeated breach, fraud or a legal requirement, acting proportionately and explaining the reason when we lawfully can. Refunds and reversed payments can end the corresponding license under its applicable terms.

Responsibility and liability

Keep backups of important files and check a product’s requirements before using it. To the extent permitted by law, the website and software are provided as described without additional guarantees, and we exclude liability for indirect losses and lost profits. Where a liability cap is lawful, our total liability relating to an affected product is the amount paid for that product or US$100, whichever is higher.

Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or product liability.

Material changes

For material terms or privacy changes, we will notify affected account holders by manual email and an on-site account notice at least 30 days ahead where practicable. Urgent legal or security changes may take effect sooner. Changes do not retroactively remove rights granted to existing buyers or override mandatory law.

Governing law and courts

California law governs these terms, with disputes heard in the courts of Monterey County, California, subject to mandatory consumer protections and any right to use the courts or protections of your own locale. These terms do not impose an arbitration agreement or class-action waiver.
