Necessary account storage

The secure main-site sign-in cookie identifies a session for up to 7 days. A short-lived sign-in-flow cookie helps verify a Google login. Signing out removes the session cookie. These are used for authentication and security, not advertising. Public browsing does not require an account.

The optional itch.io flow uses a secure, short-lived browser cookie for up to ten minutes to bind the authorization attempt. It contains a random flow identifier, not an itch password or OAuth access token.

Preferences

The pyro-theme local-storage setting remembers your light or dark choice until you clear it. Search can keep recent queries locally in your browser. Preference storage is not an advertising profile and is not sent as account content to analytics.

Google Analytics and Meta Pixel

Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel follow the controls on Privacy & cookies. Only a specific EU/EEA, UK or Quebec detection defaults to prior opt-in; other, unknown or failed detections default to opt-out. Saved choices, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track take precedence. The bottom-right panel has Approve and Reject controls; it does not ask you to choose a region.

Measurement receives readable public paths and titles, sanitized referrals/campaign labels and general private-flow labels through a separate origin. Anonymous Google Analytics cookies use the pyro_measure prefix on measurement.pyrosoft.pro and may last up to 180 days after a measured visit. Rejecting stops optional tracking but does not itself erase existing provider cookies; you can clear browser storage. Meta first-party publisher cookies and advanced matching remain disabled. It does not receive raw account, authentication, receipt or payment URLs, query strings or customer identifiers as page parameters. Third parties can still receive network information when a request is made.

Other services

Google sign-in and optional profile images contact Google. A YouTube trailer contacts YouTube only after you choose to play it. Following a store or Discord link takes you to that service. Those services have their own storage and privacy policies. Our main-site header/footer fonts are hosted by us.

Some older main-site page content loads Google Fonts or Font Awesome icons from cdnjs. Those providers receive normal request network information when these resources load.

Your choices

Use Privacy & cookies or the Privacy control to change your choice. Reject turns optional measurement off. Clearing browser storage can remove your saved choice; Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track still take precedence. Blocking browser cookies or storage can also affect sign-in and preferences.
