Scope and existing rights
This license applies to new paid licenses issued under PyroSoft’s own terms. It does not reduce rights already granted to existing buyers. Product-specific, store-granted and open-source licenses continue to govern where they apply. Unity Asset Store purchases, including Battle Bot Arena Engine, retain the rights granted by Unity’s applicable license.
Personal use and duration
New paid licenses issued under these PyroSoft terms permit personal, non-commercial use only. The license is non-exclusive and does not transfer copyright ownership. A one-time purchase remains valid indefinitely for the purchased major version, subject to lawful termination under its terms. Maintenance updates for that major version are included; purchasing a later major version is optional.
Devices, license keys and activation
Some products use online activation or periodic license checks. Device limits, supported systems and offline behavior depend on the product and its applicable license; this page does not impose a new universal device limit or claim that every app supports the account service. Where a device is recorded in your account, you can request its disconnection from Devices. The app’s next license check applies that change.
Free software and third-party licenses
Free products can have product-specific terms. For open-source software, the actual license supplied with the code controls; this policy does not add a non-commercial restriction to an open-source license or remove rights it grants. Third-party components retain their own notices and licenses.
Restrictions
Do not share, sell or distribute licenses, private keys or proprietary software beyond the rights your applicable license grants. Do not bypass lawful activation restrictions, remove required notices or use the software unlawfully. These restrictions do not limit mandatory statutory exceptions or rights granted by an applicable open-source or store license.
Ending a license
A refund or reversed payment can end the license associated with that purchase. A serious breach may lead to proportionate suspension or termination under the applicable terms and law. An indefinite license is not a promise of perpetual operation of every online feature or support for every future operating-system version.
Continuity if license checking permanently closes
If we plan to shut down license checking permanently, we will give existing paid license holders at least 90 days’ notice and provide an offline activation method or a final offline build for those licenses. This is a commitment for a planned shutdown; it is not a claim that every current app already has that mechanism.
