XbotGo T4 Tripod: A Tall Idea That Packs into a Carrying Bag

Opening the telescoping support and looking at its locks and supplied weight bag.

Article published November 4, 2026.

This is one of the taller boxes to arrive for an unboxing, and I do not know what to make of it until I get to the carrying bag. Inside is the XbotGo T4 telescoping tripod.

Start with the pieces that keep it together

I find the manual, carry case and separate weight bag. Then I look at the leg locks and how the folded pieces fit into their closed positions.

The package presents it as a 13-foot support. I discuss the appeal of a higher camera view, but I do not measure its fully extended height or test it with equipment outdoors.

The weight bag is an accessory, not a result

I show the included bag and discuss why extra stability would matter with a tall setup. That is not a wind test, a load rating or proof that a field view will always be unobstructed.

The practical first look is how the support packs down and what comes with it.

Part of the camera setup

XbotGo sent the tripod for the video. I also opened their AI Cameraman gimbal separately, without completing a combined outdoor test in either unboxing.
