VIZIUUY Solar Camera: Trying the Bracket and Threaded Connector
Opening the separate-panel kit and seeing how the camera comes off its mount.
Article published November 4, 2026.
The useful thing about a separate solar panel is that I can think about the camera view and the panel position independently. That is the arrangement I am looking at in this October 2024 VIZIUUY unboxing.
Two mounts, then the camera
I find the panel, its adjustable mount and the camera’s own bracket. I show how the camera slides onto the bracket and snaps into place, rather than installing the whole kit on a wall during this recording.
The manual and quick-start material cover the app and installation. There is also a surveillance notice in the package.
A USB-C connection with a threaded housing
I connect the panel cable and screw the surrounding housing together. I also look at the supplied cable for bringing the camera to a USB power source when it needs charging.
That is a connector demonstration, not a weather-resistance or solar-output test. The broad battery-life comments I make come from my experience with other cameras, not a timed run with the new unit.
What I still want to see outdoors
I discuss recording, movement and storage options, but I do not show an installed camera feed or test a cloud plan in this session. Pricing, retention and privacy terms are separate decisions from opening the hardware.
VIZIUUY sent this over. The Poyasilon camera unboxing shows another separate-panel kit from the same period, without a head-to-head performance result.
