CAMDUCK-X: An Outlet-Style Camera, Viewed as Hardware
Opening the package and looking at its connectors and storage compartment.
Article published November 4, 2026.
The CAMDUCK-X looks like an outlet adapter, but it is also being sold as a camera. That makes the first question different from an ordinary charger unboxing: what is actually inside this package?
Look at the body before making assumptions
I take out the device and look over its outlet and USB-style connections. I also open the upper cover to show the memory-card compartment and look through the supplied accessories.
This is a hardware tour. I do not record footage, pair an app, test the electrical capacity of the outlets or verify the advertised video resolution.
The accessories do not establish security
There is a USB accessory in the package, which I comment on during the recording. I do not plug it in or carry out a software or network-security assessment.
The camera’s appearance also does not establish that recording people would be appropriate. Anyone considering a camera needs to respect the people and private spaces involved; this article is not a guide to hiding it from them.
Keep the models separate
CAMDUCK sent the X for this video. I later opened a CAMDUCK-XN charger-shaped model as a separate hardware session. The similar idea does not make the devices identical or establish how either performs.
