CAMDUCK-XN: Looking Closely at a Charger-Shaped Camera

An unboxing that shows the camera area and removable storage compartment.

Article published November 4, 2026.

This CAMDUCK-XN looks like a power adapter, but there is a camera behind the dark section on the front. I open the package to get familiar with that hardware, rather than treating it as an ordinary charger.

What is in the package?

The manual explains the software needed for the device. I look over the outlet and USB connections, then the smaller accessories supplied in the box.

One accessory initially resembles a USB stick. It is a microSD card reader, which is an important difference when identifying what each part does.

The camera and storage are the subject

I point out the camera area and show the compartment containing the microSD slot. That is the extent of the hands-on demonstration in this recording.

I do not set up remote viewing or show a recording sample, and I do not verify the advertised resolution, night vision or motion alerts. Its charger-like appearance also does not establish the security of the software.

A future test I still want to try

Near the end, I talk about testing camera-detection devices against products like this. That is a future experiment, not a result from this unboxing.

The useful takeaway here is recognizing that a device shaped like a charger can also contain a camera and storage. This is not a guide to secretly recording people. Any recording setup needs to respect the people and private spaces involved.
