Questions
Could Debbie talk?
Yes. With a Windows text-to-speech library installed, typing 'Speaking On' made Debbie read her replies aloud. It used to work only on Windows 98 and similar systems; XP support arrived in March 2005.
Did WinDebbie come with its source code?
Yes. Mike's September 2003 notes for its planned successor, WinMAX, say WinMAX saved space by leaving out what WinDEBbie 3 included: the source code, extra AIML such as German and Lizards, the original internet botmaster send structure and the literature folder.
Can I still download WinDebbie?
No. Version 3.0 was shared as a download on the AnarchyZERO.com forums (uploaded there in August 2004), and PyroSoft no longer distributes it.
