QSuite Public SDK

Developer SDKs for quantum-safe cryptographic operations.

WindowsmacOSLinuxWindows · macOS · Linux Legacy

Legacy software. Retired and no longer supported. It can’t be downloaded here.

Overview

QSuite Public SDK was a pair of client libraries, one for Node.js/TypeScript and one for Python, for working with a quantum-safe key management service (KMS). They let an application create and list keys, encrypt and decrypt messages, and sign and verify data with post-quantum algorithms: Kyber512, Kyber768 and Kyber1024 for encryption, Dilithium2, Dilithium3 and Dilithium5 for signatures, and hybrid schemes that paired Kyber with X25519 and Dilithium with Ed25519.

The SDKs came with TypeScript interfaces and Python type hints, supported JWT, OAuth and API-key authentication with automatic token refresh, and retried failed network requests. The Python SDK added a command-line tool, and the repository included examples for message encryption, signature verification and hybrid certificates.

The SDKs talked to a compatible Quantum-Safe KMS backend through its HTTP API and did not work on their own. They were published as source code on GitHub in June 2025.

Highlights

  • Kyber512/768/1024 key encapsulation for encryption
  • Dilithium2/3/5 digital signatures
  • Hybrid Kyber + X25519 and Dilithium + Ed25519 schemes
  • TypeScript interfaces for Node.js and type hints for Python
  • JWT, OAuth and API-key authentication with automatic token refresh
  • Python CLI: create-key, list-keys, encrypt, decrypt, sign, verify, health
  • Example code for encryption, signatures and hybrid certificates

Questions

Did the SDK work on its own?

No. It was a client for a quantum-safe key management service and needed a compatible Quantum-Safe KMS backend to talk to.

Could it be installed from npm or PyPI?

No. No packages were published to npm or PyPI; the SDK was distributed as source code on GitHub. The qsuite package on PyPI is an unrelated project.
