The short version: BurnBin streams files straight from your device to whoever you share a link with. We don't make you create an account, we don't store your files on our servers, and we don't track you or sell your data.
BurnBin is a file‑sharing app published by PyroSoft ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is and isn't involved when you use BurnBin on iPhone, iPad, or Mac, and the relay service that powers your share links at my.burnb.in.
When you choose files or photos to share, they stay on your device. BurnBin runs a small server on your device and creates a private link; when someone opens that link, the file streams directly from your device, through our relay, to their browser.
To route a share link from the public internet to your device, traffic passes through our relay server. To operate the relay reliably and protect it from abuse, our servers may temporarily process basic connection metadata such as IP addresses, timestamps, and the amount of data transferred. File contents pass through the relay in transit but are not retained, and any connection logs are kept only briefly and then discarded.
BurnBin offers an auto‑renewing subscription. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account — we never see or receive your payment card or billing details. We rely on Apple to tell the app whether your subscription is active so the app can unlock sharing.
BurnBin is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of BurnBin after a change means you accept the updated policy.
