80,000 Subscribers: A Quick Thank You Before the Next Video
Looking back at the short milestone message on the way to 100K.

I stepped away from the unboxings for this one. It is a short video with a simple purpose: thank you for helping the channel reach 80,000 subscribers.
By the time I recorded the message, the counter had already moved past 81,000. I joked that all those calls to action at the start of the videos seemed to be working. Mostly, I was happy to see people continuing to show up.
On to 100K
At that point, 100,000 was the next big goal. This post keeps that moment in its original place in the channel's history; the numbers in the video are the numbers from that recording.
We eventually had another celebration, with a very different activity: trying Australian snacks at the 100K milestone.
