TOZO OpenEarRing: An Earring-Like Fit and Clear First Impressions
Opening the case, pairing the earbuds and trying their open-ear design.
Article published November 4, 2026.
TOZO calls these OpenEarRing headphones, and the name starts to make sense as soon as I take one out of the case. The curved shape goes around the ear, leaving the speaker beside it instead of sealing the ear canal.
The case and its battery display
I open the package and work through the quick-start material, support card and USB charging lead. Pressing the case button shows a 100 percent battery reading during the unboxing.
The individual earbuds have a rounded shape that reminds me of a small dumbbell. I show how the curved section fits around the ear before moving to the phone connection.
Pair, then listen
I find TOZO OpenEarRing in the Bluetooth list and try some music. My first reaction is that the sound is clear and enjoyable, with bass that does not feel as heavy as a closed design.
I can still hear the room around me in this session. That describes my experience, rather than proving traffic safety, hearing protection or the same fit for every person.
Different shapes around the ear
The NEOQOQO open-ear walkthrough uses a longer ear hook and a different case design. The separate sessions are useful for seeing those physical differences, without turning them into a controlled audio comparison.
The original video also includes a Silkland cable sponsor segment. I do not test that cable's headline display rates, run a full earbud battery cycle or verify water resistance here. The description has no earbud-purchase URL, so I have not added one.
