NEOQOQO Open-Ear Headphones: The Case Display and a First Listen

Trying the ear hooks, phone pairing and the sound of this open-ear pair.

Article published November 4, 2026.

I keep coming back to open-ear headphones because I like having the speaker beside my ear instead of something pressing inside it. With this NEOQOQO pair, the case catches my attention before I even get to the music.

A display I can see with the case closed

I open the package, find the USB charging lead and remove the protective pieces from the earbuds. The case shows a 100 percent reading, and the individual charging lights make it easy to see what is happening.

I spend a little time admiring the finish and the curved display area. That is the sort of small design detail I notice every time I pick a case up.

Ear hooks and the first connection

I put the hooks around my ears and position the speakers, then pair the headphones with my phone. The Bluetooth name shown during this session includes Q11.

During the music listen, I like the clarity but find the bass more restrained than another NEOQOQO pair I had tried. That is my reaction in this session, without a measured frequency response or a general claim about everyone's fit.

Another approach to open-ear fit

My Sanag S6S first look uses an earring-style clip instead of this hook arrangement. The fit mechanism is a useful difference to consider without treating the separate videos as a controlled sound comparison.

I do not run a call, workout, water-resistance or full battery test here. What I show is the case, the fit, pairing and that first music impression.
