PHIXERO P20: The Pocket-Size SSD and Its USB Speed Catch
A compact-drive overview, with advertised transfer rates kept separate from a benchmark.

The PHIXERO P20 is small enough that my first question is where I would put it so I do not lose it. A portable SSD is useful when it is easy to carry, but the connection on the computer matters just as much as the size of the drive.
The advertised speed has a condition
In this July 2025 overview, I discuss a read-speed claim around 2,000 MB/s. I also point out the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 requirement for that headline rate.
I do not run a timed transfer or storage benchmark in this recording. The figure should be read as a specification being discussed, rather than a result I measured on a laptop or phone.
Small body, lanyard and connection options
I show the compact drive and talk through the lanyard and USB connection options. The video mentions a range of computers and mobile devices, but it does not test every device or establish universal compatibility just because a USB-C port is present.

Durability claims need their own tests
The discussion also includes protection, temperature and support claims. I do not drop or submerge the P20, test temperature limits or contact support here, so those are not verified reliability results.
