CHARYJOD Desk Lamp: The Little Night Light Has More Range Than I Expected
Trying brightness, warmer light and the swiveling lamp head.
Article published November 4, 2026.
I have a new workbench and need a desk lamp for it. This CHARYJOD model looks straightforward at first, but the small night light and the way the head turns give me more options than I expected.
Touch controls for two kinds of light
Once it is powered, I slide through brightness levels and try the mode control to change between a whiter and warmer look.
The smaller night light is separate, so I can use it without keeping the main lamp on. I also look at the timer controls and charging connections, without leaving a timer running or measuring a phone charge.
Then I notice the swivel
I add another part to the recording after discovering how the light turns. I can aim it off to the side or toward the wall, and fold the body down when I want to put it away.
That movement is the detail I find especially useful. It gives me more control over where the light falls while reading or working at the table.
A first addition to the workbench
The lamp sits on the motorized FlexiSpot desk introduced at the start of the video. I later made a separate FlexiSpot E6 desk setup video about the height controls and studio arrangement.
CHARYJOD sent the lamp for this session. It is a controls-and-positioning demonstration, without a brightness measurement or evidence for the eye-care wording on the box. The original Amazon link is below.
