Statik SmartCharge: The Travel Heads Slide over Its Folded Plug

Looking at the attached cables, display and small phone support.

Article published November 4, 2026.

The travel-head mechanism on the Statik SmartCharge is the detail I want to show first. I fold the US plug down, then slide another head over that section instead of pulling the whole plug assembly out.

Several heads in the package

I work through the supplied EU, UK and Australia-style pieces and show how one slides into place. It is an interesting mechanical approach to keeping the main plug with the charger.

The physical heads are what I demonstrate. They do not by themselves establish voltage compatibility or approval for every destination, so the exact device and destination requirements still matter.

Cables stay with the battery

I pull out the built-in USB-C and Lightning leads, then look at the extra USB ports and wireless pad. The idea is having several connection options with the unit instead of needing to remember every separate cable.

Pressing the button shows an 86 percent reading during this session. I also pull out the small support that can hold a phone upright.

A hardware walkthrough before an endurance test

I discuss the listed capacity and charging figures, but do not measure them with a load tester or run a battery cycle. The part I establish here is the layout and the pieces I can handle.

My AFERIY Nano100 walkthrough is another built-in cable design, using a retractable lead rather than this arrangement. The original Statik product link is below.
