Anker Prime 250W: Watching the Phone and Steam Deck Power Readouts

Trying the screen, dial and two connected devices.

Article published November 4, 2026.

The screen is what makes this Anker Prime charger especially interesting to me. Instead of only plugging things in and hoping, I can look at what the charger reports for the connected ports.

Six ports and a dial

I unpack the unit, guides and power cable, then look over the ribbed enclosure and side control. The product is rated for 250W total, with four USB-C ports and two USB-A ports.

Once it is on, I turn the dial through the port views and look at the priority settings. The display also has other options described in the guide, including brightness and a clock-style screen.

Start with the phone

I connect my iPhone 15 Pro Max first. Charging starts, and the displayed power changes as I watch it. That varying readout is more useful to show than treating the top number on the box as the power every device will take.

Then add the Steam Deck

I move the Steam Deck onto the first port and the phone onto the next. The screen reports roughly 51W across the two during part of the demonstration, with the individual values moving around.

Those are the charger's own readings in this session, not measurements from an independent meter. I do not load every port, reach the rated maximum or time a full battery charge.

Anker sent the unit, and I explain that I had already been buying their products for years. The original Amazon link is below. The separate MTT25 offer belongs to Geeksoutfit clothing, not the charger.
