Before the iPhone 17 Announcement: The Rumors I Discussed in September 2025
An archived prelaunch conversation, separate from the later hands-on phone videos.
Article published November 4, 2026.
Before the announcement, the possibilities are part of the fun. In this September 1, 2025 video, I talk through iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max rumors—from sharing battery power to camera changes and possible colors.
This is an archive of that prelaunch discussion. It is not a current specification sheet, a leak verification or a hands-on test of a released phone.
The ideas I wanted to hear more about
I discuss the possibility of reverse wireless charging and what it could mean for accessories. I also talk about rumored camera upgrades, cooling changes and display features.
Those points were presented as expectations and speculation. Repeating them in an article does not turn them into confirmed capabilities or establish which predictions came true.
Colors and timing were part of the conversation
The video mentions white and light-blue examples alongside possible orange or copper finishes. I also discuss the expected announcement and sales timetable.
The uncertainty matters. This recording predates the launch, and its price speculation is not being reused here as an actual launch price or a current offer.
Move to the later hands-on video for the physical phone
For a different kind of article, my later iPhone 17 Pro Max and Crave case unboxing covers the phone and cases I actually handle. It does not retroactively validate every rumor in this earlier discussion.
Geeksoutfit supported the original video with apparel. Its separate store link and listed code remain below, while the rumor discussion stays tied to its original date.
