EasySMX M05: The Moving USB-C Connector Is the Detail I Notice

Fitting the controller around my phone after opening a mystery package.

Article published November 4, 2026.

I do not know what is in the shipping box when I start this one. It turns out to be another EasySMX package, and this time the timing is useful: I have been trying to sort out controllers for a phone with USB-C.

The connector problem

I explain how my existing controllers have ended up on the wrong side of a phone change. One worked with an older setup, and the other uses Lightning. The M05 gives me a USB-C option to try.

I take out the manual, extend the controller and check the buttons and triggers. The controls feel good in this first handling, and I like having the extra buttons around the back.

A little movement helps

The USB-C connector can tilt slightly. I notice it while putting the phone in: I can connect one end and stretch the other grip around it, rather than feeling as though I am forcing a flat connector at an awkward angle.

I fit my phone and open Warzone. A proper playing session is still ahead, so this video is about the fit and first handling rather than a latency or long-term comfort review.

More room for a grip

EasySMX sent the controller over. If you are looking at other expandable designs, my later GameSir G8+ Switch fit check covers another large-grip approach.

The description lists MikeTheTech for a discount, without specifying its amount or expiry. I mention an approximate percentage in the recording, but check the seller’s current terms rather than treating that as a guaranteed offer.

The original description also includes http://eme7.com/ and http://discord.mikethetech.com/. The course URL carries MIKETHETECH, without a stated discount amount or expiry.
