ORICO Ener-G AA Batteries: Four USB-C Ports and One Branching Cable
Opening the case and connecting the rechargeable cells to their supplied lead.
Article published November 4, 2026.
The cable looks unusual until I open the battery case. One end is USB-A, and the other splits into four USB-C connections—one for each AA-shaped battery.
This is the ORICO Ener-G set from the video. The interesting part of the unboxing is that each cell has its own charging port.
The charging connection is on the battery
I take out the carrying case and four cells, then point out the USB-C connection near the top of each one. I connect them to the supplied lead, ending up with what I jokingly try to name a four-armed battery octopus.
That arrangement is the practical feature I demonstrate. It is different from putting loose cells into a separate conventional AA charger.
A familiar size, with requirements to check
I discuss controllers and remotes as possible uses, but this short session does not establish compatibility with every device that accepts an AA-shaped cell. Check the exact battery and equipment requirements before choosing a replacement.
I do not time a full charge, measure capacity or run repeated discharge cycles here. The advertised endurance and protection features remain product claims rather than results of this unboxing.
Keep the pieces together
The carrying case and included branching cable are useful parts of the package to see together. What I finish with is a clear look at how these particular cells connect for charging, with the longer runtime questions left for actual use.
