Connecting the panel to everyday driver tasks

Real progress, tray controls, XML editing and audio-driver management.

By May, the control-panel work was moving from the shell into the actions people would use regularly. The changes fixed behavior when no driver was installed, improved restart functions and added more realistic task progress and console input.

That's useful because waiting on a driver operation can otherwise look like the app has stopped responding. A progress indicator should reflect the task, and the console should help explain what happened when it didn't finish as expected.

Tray integration arrived alongside more consistent menu behavior. There were also corrections distinguishing hardware and software reload paths, plus a fuller XML editor and settings preload work. The goal was to make common changes available through the panel while keeping the underlying configuration understandable.

Community scripts became easier to access and synchronize. That brought other people's workflow improvements closer to the app, though scripts still needed to be treated as actual operations with their own behavior, rather than decoration in a menu.

July added installer and uninstaller work and then Virtual Audio Driver support. That expanded the panel's role from display configuration toward managing a small family of virtual-device tools. It also made accurate driver detection and operation feedback more important: the app needed to know which device and package an action concerned.

These commits document capability development, not a newly verified release on every Windows configuration. There were still changes and reversals ahead in the installation controls. For this stage, the meaningful progress was that the interface was becoming connected to configuration, lifecycle actions and diagnostics that could save a user several manual steps.
