NewQ Steam Deck Dock: A Small Hub with a Fold-Out Stand
Opening the four-in-one accessory and checking where its connections sit.
Article published November 4, 2026.
I am a sucker for Steam Deck accessories. I take the Deck with me a lot, so a small accessory that adds connections without turning into another large box is going to catch my attention.
NewQ sent this four-in-one dock over, and the first thing I notice is how little space the body takes up.
The ports are along the top
I open the packaging, find the manual and look over the short connection arrangement. I explain how it is intended to attach to the Deck, then point out USB-C, HDMI and two USB ports.
Opening the back reveals the little stand. That gives it a second physical job beyond just holding the connections.
A port tour rather than a display test
The description lists display-output and charging specifications, but this recording does not show a connected external screen or measure power delivery. I do not verify 4K60 output or run a game through the dock here.
The concrete first look is the body, port placement and folding support. For a travel setup, those are useful details to see before doing the longer compatibility tests.
Something small to pack
I mention another NewQ accessory that had been useful on a trip, but that experience belongs to the earlier battery pack, not this new dock. I am looking forward to trying this one properly with the rest of the kit.
