DS10 Pro Deadbolt: Tactile Buttons and Two Halves to Connect
Looking through the lock parts before a planned installation video.
Article published November 4, 2026.
The DS10 Pro package is heavier than the small gadgets I had been opening, and it turns out to contain the two sides of a digital deadbolt.
I had ideas for where I might install it, but this recording stays with the parts in front of the camera.
The buttons feel like buttons
I look through the templates, mounting hardware and interior assembly, then take out the keypad side. The tactile button presses catch my attention because they give a clear physical response.
I point out the fingerprint-reader area and show how the two sides connect. That is a bench demonstration, not a completed door installation.
Leave the unlock test for later
I discuss the advertised fingerprint and Bluetooth options, without enrolling a finger, pairing an app or demonstrating an unlock. I also notice a USB-C port, but do not test or establish its exact charging or backup-power behavior.
Battery-life guesses about this type of device are not measured results for this lock.
Another lock format to look at
AKAGEAR sent this for the video. In a later session I opened the DESLOC B200 and its separate gateway, which is a different package rather than a security comparison.
