BougeRV Portable Fridge: A Month Indoors and Two Separate Compartments

Looking over the wheels, lid, controls and the features I had been using.

Article published November 4, 2026.

The first version of this video never made it onto the channel, so by the time I record this one, I have been using the BougeRV unit daily for about a month. I even have it working as an indoor fridge and freezer.

The two-compartment arrangement is what I keep coming back to. I discuss using the sections for different jobs, then go through the physical features around the unit.

Handles, wheels and a bottle opener

I show the carrying handles and wheels, then point out the bottle opener and other small exterior details. The version I identify in the video is 52 quarts.

I also discuss the lid's reversible arrangement. Those are useful handling features to inspect before thinking of it as something to move between a room and a vehicle.

Separate compartment controls

I look at the display and the controls for the individual sections, including the operating modes. The interior has lighting, and I describe how I have been using the compartments.

The temperature range and power figures I read are specifications, not a calibrated cooling, food-storage or energy-consumption test. I do not time a warm load reaching a safe storage temperature.

More than one possible power source

I point out the battery compartment and discuss the supplied wall and vehicle power options. That is not a completed battery-runtime test or a guarantee that a particular vehicle battery cannot be drained.

BougeRV provided the unit, and Silkland sponsored the original video with a separate cable. I keep those source links below. My actual experience here is the month of personal use and the hardware walkthrough, with the claimed runtime, noise and loaded capacity left unmeasured.
