UGREEN FineTrack: A Small Find My Tracker That Worked Well for Me
After mixed results with another UGREEN device, this inexpensive item tracker was a happier experience.
Article published November 3, 2026.
I have had mixed results with UGREEN products. A Wi-Fi adapter I tried had let me down, so a low price alone was not going to make me recommend the next thing. The FineTrack tracker was a happier experience.
This is a short first-hand impression from my July 5, 2026 video. The useful part was simple: I could use it with Apple's Find My, and it did the job I wanted it to do.
A small item tracker at an interesting price
I said I had picked mine up for $8.50. That was the price I was discussing at the time, rather than a promise about today's Amazon listing. At that price, it was an inexpensive way for me to try another Find My-compatible tracker.
I put one in my truck and was happy with how it worked. That is my experience with this particular unit; the video is not a controlled range test or a long-term battery test.
One small detail I appreciated
The included stickers help distinguish what each tag is attached to. If you buy more than one, being able to tell them apart is a useful little addition. It is the kind of thing I notice once a product is out of the packaging and I am deciding where to use it.
What stood out was having a positive result after a different product from the same brand had disappointed me. I want to give credit to the device that works well without pretending every product with the same name on the box will behave the same way.
