VSITOO S2: Opening the Filter Cartridge Built into the Bottle Cap
A look at the removable filter assembly and drinking spout.
Article published November 3, 2026.
The part I want to open on the VSITOO S2 is the cap. The bottle has a clean black finish, but the filter assembly tucked into the top is what makes this design different from an ordinary insulated bottle.
I unlock that assembly, take a look at the replaceable cartridge and put it back together. This is a hardware walkthrough, rather than a water-quality test.
The filter lives in the lid
I show how the cap unlocks and where the cartridge sits. After putting it back, I try the opening mechanism and the drinking nozzle.
The appeal is having the filter and drinking arrangement integrated into a bottle I can carry. In the recording, I identify this one as the 25.4-ounce size; the seller also described other sizes.
Opening a filter is not testing its performance
I discuss filtration and insulation claims in the video, but I do not analyze water samples, verify a certification or time temperature retention. The unboxing does not establish which contaminants a specific cartridge removes, how long it lasts in particular water or whether a water source is safe to drink.
Those questions need the current manufacturer's documentation for the exact cartridge and its intended use. What I demonstrate here is the physical cartridge access, cap lock and drinking spout.
