NYXI Warrior: Swapping the Paddles and the Classic Stick Caps

A physical first look at the GameCube-inspired controller and included adapter.

Article published November 4, 2026.

The NYXI Warrior gives me the familiar controller layout I want to pick up immediately, then adds things I can change. I spend this first look swapping the rear pieces and stick caps and trying the trigger travel.

The accessories explain some of the options

I open the box and find the guide, cables, console adapter and extra control pieces. I show the GameCube/Wii adapter, but do not pair it with a console in this session.

The controller feels wider and comfortable in my hands. That is my first fit impression, rather than a conclusion for every player.

Take the paddles off, then put them back

I remove the rear paddle section and fit the alternative cover, then swap it back again. Having the option means I can choose the physical arrangement instead of keeping extra controls permanently under my fingers.

I also try the short and long trigger-travel settings and press through the face controls.

Change the stick tops

I twist off a stick cap, fit an alternative and then return to the classic-style piece I prefer. Seeing the parts change is the main result of the unboxing.

I finish by planning more use and tests. I do not measure latency, prove long-term stick behavior or establish every listed platform's compatibility here. The original NYXI and Amazon links remain below, with the separate Geeksoutfit offer.
