NUBWO HG03: Good Bass, Soft Pads—and an FPS Button I Still Need to Explain

A short fit and listening test, with the microphone and FPS mode left for follow-up.

Article published November 3, 2026.

The NUBWO HG03 gives me a nice first impression before I even plug it in. The ear pads are soft, the cups cover my ears, and the headset comes out of a fabric carrying bag that feels worth keeping.

Then I try the audio on a computer. It is loud and bass-heavy in the way I enjoy. The part I do not figure out is the FPS button.

The fit and the controls

I put the headset on and talk through how the pads feel around my ears. Some outside sound is blocked even before it is connected, but that is my impression of the physical isolation, not a measured active-noise-canceling result.

On the cable I look over the volume and mute controls and the dedicated FPS button. That last control is the feature I am most curious about going into the listening test.

A listening impression, with one open question

After connecting it, I like the sound and the bass. I turn the FPS mode on and off, but I cannot clearly tell what changes during this short session.

That is where I leave the question in the video. I plan to look into the mode and record a microphone demonstration afterward; neither of those results is included here. This is not a competitive-game or positional-audio comparison.

For now, I can share the fit, the controls and my reaction to the sound. The pads and bass are a good start. Explaining that button needs a little more work than pressing it and guessing.
