Opening a Custom COLDEST Bottle: Lids, Texture and the Extras

A closer look at the limited-edition COLDEST bottle I opened, its interchangeable lids and the personalized finish.

Article published November 3, 2026.

A water bottle unboxing is mostly about the bottle, right? This COLDEST box made me spend a fair amount of time with the accessories first. There were different lids, a straw and an infuser/blender attachment to work through before getting to the design itself.

The version in my September 12, 2026 video was a limited-edition release. The interesting part for me was how much you could change about the way you used it, as well as how it looked.

Pick the lid that suits the drink

I showed the different lid and drinking options in the box, including a locking chug cap and a straw with a soft tip. The chug cap has a button-operated opening, and I took a closer look at the seal inside it.

The infuser/blender attachment was another interesting extra. It gives you an option for adding something to the drink instead of treating the bottle as a plain container. Having those pieces in the box is useful if you like switching between different ways of drinking from it.

The customization has some texture

We chose a spiderweb design and added my wife's gamer tag. What I liked when I handled it was the embossed feel. The web and the lettering did not feel like a flat printed design.

I also showed the rubber bottom and discussed the bottle's cup-holder sizing. Those are the sorts of everyday details I notice when something is going to move between a desk and a car.

Keep the insulation claim separate from the unboxing

At the start of the video, I described COLDEST's advertised range of 33 to 100-plus hours of cold retention across its models. That is a manufacturer claim across a range, rather than the result of a temperature test performed in this unboxing.

The same distinction applies to the seals I showed. Looking closely at a lid is useful, but it does not establish that every configuration will be leak-free in every situation.

The appeal of this particular bottle was the combination: a design we could personalize, a textured finish and several accessories already included. Limited editions and prices change, so the video is a look at the version I opened at the time. Watch above for the walkthrough of the box and its attachments.
