SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro: An Earring-Style Fit and a First Listen
Opening the case and trying the open-ear clips.
Article published November 4, 2026.
These go around the ear more like an earring than an earbud tip. That is the first thing to understand about the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro, and it is the shape I want to try when I open the case.
I look through the accessories, remove the protective pieces and put the clips on for a short listening session.
The case and the soft-feeling clips
The package has a USB charging lead, and the case has its charging port and button on the back. Inside are the small curved earpieces.
The surface feels soft to me. Instead of sealing a tip into the ear canal, I position the clip around the ear and describe the different look and feel.
The bass is part of the tradeoff I notice
During the first listen, I like the sound, while pointing out that I am not getting the very heavy bass I might expect from a sealed design. That is my immediate impression in this session.
I also report a strong connection in the quick setup. It is not a range or long-term reliability test, and a Bluetooth version number alone does not establish either.
A first fit rather than an all-day test
The recording does not cover a workout, water exposure, battery endurance or a call sample. The advertised awards and specifications are not independently verified here.
What I actually try is the clip-on position and the first music listen. That is enough to show why the form factor is different, with the longer-term questions left for regular use.
