Pockfog Electric Smoker: Cherry Wood, Colored Lights and a Glass of Cola

The drink in this whiskey-smoker video is actually Coca-Cola. I choose cherry wood for it, because the cherry-cola idea makes sense to me, and then try the Pockfog's smoke and lighting effect over the glass.

Pockfog supplied the kit. This is one short demonstration, not a comparison of every wood or a whiskey tasting.

The box has several wood choices

I unpack the device, carrying case, accessories and separate containers of chips. I look through the different wood labels and the printed serving suggestions before choosing cherry for the drink in front of me.

The removable chamber is part of the design I handle. I do not establish that the unit fits every glass or verify cleaning and food-safety claims in this session.

The first attempt needs a charge

I get the chamber ready, then find that the device needs charging before the powered demonstration can start. Once it is charged, I browse the timing choices and select the ten-second cycle.

I change the lighting and start the cycle. I can see smoke forming over the drink and comment on the smell while it runs.

A smoky first impression on cola

When I lift the unit away, I like the visual effect and describe a smoky taste on the cola. That is the drink I actually try; the whiskey pairings I discuss are suggestions, not completed comparisons.

I do not measure smoke exposure, battery endurance or test the whole set of wood types. What I demonstrate is a charged unit running a short cycle, colored lighting and my immediate reaction to that one glass.
