Playcast Pavilion: A Short Introduction to Joining Games from a Browser
The idea behind the October 2025 promotional video.
Article published November 4, 2026.
This short Playcast introduction starts with a simple idea: a friend should be able to join a game through a browser, including from a device that is not powerful enough to run the game itself.
It is a promotional overview from October 2025, rather than a gameplay test or a current service-availability report.
The host runs the game
In the video, I describe Playcast Pavilion's peer-to-peer streaming approach. The host provides the computer running the game, while the joining player uses the stream.
That is the concept the short is introducing. It does not include a measured latency comparison, an installation walkthrough or testing across every browser and device.
Check current hosting terms separately
The original message also describes hosting benefits and access to games. Those statements belong to that dated promotion; they are not a new promise that every title, reward or hosting arrangement is available today.
The original Pavilion referral link is below for current information. The embedded video preserves the introduction as it was posted, while keeping the distinction between a quick promotional explanation and a hands-on test.
