PAUTIX COB Strips: Two Packages, with the RGB Set Lighting Up the Room
Opening the warm-white and RGB kits before trying the color controls.
Article published November 4, 2026.
There are two PAUTIX kits in the box: a warm-white COB strip and an RGB version with more controls. I open them separately so it is easier to see what belongs with each.
The connectors and remotes are different
The warm-white package has the strip on a reel, its power adapter and the control pieces. The RGB kit has a different connector arrangement and a larger remote with more options.
I show how the supplied pieces fit together. The package also calls attention to unrolling the strip for use, which is worth noticing before treating the reel as its operating position.
The RGB strip gets the room test
I stretch out the RGB set and power it on. Then I change to green, red and blue, adjust the brightness and try some of the modes. It has a strong effect on the room in that short demonstration.
I discuss the warm-white option as well, but I do not carry out a measured comparison of the two. Power consumption, color accuracy, lifespan and music synchronization are not tested here.
Choose the shape of the effect
In another session, the Lumary neon rope gives a different coated-light format to look at. It is a separate product, not a controlled brightness comparison with these strips.
