Ouyulong Wall Sconces: Pull Out the Battery, Keep the Light in Place

Opening the pair of lights and trying the built-in brightness and color controls.

Article published November 3, 2026.

The removable battery is the detail I like most about these Ouyulong wall sconces. The idea is that the light can stay mounted while the battery comes away for charging, instead of having to take the whole fixture down.

In this video I try that mechanism at the desk. I do not mount the pair on a wall or complete a battery rundown.

Two lights and two remotes

I open the two-pack and go through the charging cables, remotes and mounting hardware. Each light has its own remote, so I can see how the set could be split between different positions.

The remotes need batteries during this session. The controls I actually demonstrate are the buttons on the lights themselves.

Trying the light before installing it

I put the battery into the light and it powers on. Tapping the control changes the color temperature; holding it adjusts the brightness.

I also turn the light to show a different direction for the illumination. That gives me a useful first impression of the adjustment idea without claiming a completed room-lighting installation.

The charging design is the appeal

This video includes a Playcast-sponsored introduction, and its original referral is preserved below alongside the product link.

The stated battery capacity and lighting specifications are not measured results here. What I have shown is the pair of lights, their removable power sections and the controls I can use before putting them on a wall.
