Zenni Quest 3 Lens Inserts: Trying VR with My Prescription in the Headset

Unboxing the lens pair and fitting it to my Meta Quest 3.

Article published November 4, 2026.

I am so used to putting on my glasses for VR that I reach for them out of habit after fitting these Zenni inserts. Then I remember: this pair was made for my prescription.

Keep left and right straight

The package includes the lens pair, a cloth, instructions and a padded cover. The inserts have left and right markings, which makes it easier to follow the fit shown in the video.

I also look at the supplied coating cloth and the other items in the box. The recording does not test coating life, scratch resistance or fogging over a long session.

Fit them to my Quest 3

I place each insert over the corresponding headset lens and seat it. With both in place, I put the headset on without my glasses and describe the picture as clear for me.

That is a first impression with lenses ordered for my eyes. It is not a promise that one prescription or insert variant fits everybody or both headset models.

The ordering page is part of the old recording

I show the then-current choices for Quest 3 and 3s, prescription options and coatings. The headset I physically demonstrate is the Quest 3. Prices and ordering options from December 2024 should be checked against the current product page.

The original Zenni link is below. For me, the appeal is having the correction I normally wear in glasses fitted inside my own VR setup.
