RANVOO AICE Lite Plus: I Expected Cooling, Then Tried the Heating Mode

First impressions of the neck-worn device, fan controls and app.

Article published November 4, 2026.

I thought I was opening a personal cooling gadget. A few minutes later, I am trying its heating mode and realizing this has more going on than I expected.

The video description identifies it as the RANVOO AICE Lite Plus; I shorten the name while talking through the unboxing. I had just returned from San Francisco, where the changes between cold and hot weather made the idea especially interesting.

Fit and manual controls first

The center section has a soft, flexible feel that lets me adjust the shape around my neck. I look over the intake, outlets and buttons, then turn it on in manual mode.

The airflow feels strong, and I can hear it around my ears. Using the plus and minus controls changes the fan speed. That immediate comfort impression is more useful here than repeating the headline cooling figures as though I had measured them.

The app makes the heating surprise obvious

The app finds the device, and I connect it. It shows an ambient temperature reading and offers cooling, heating, wind and AI modes.

When I try heating, the airflow becomes much gentler and I can feel warmth quickly. Switching back to cooling produces a noticeably cooler sensation. The temperatures on the screen are device readings; I do not check them with a separate thermometer.

More than moving air

I have looked at simpler fans, including the CONBOLA portable fan. This is a different kind of experience: something worn around the neck, with heating and cooling controls as well as airflow.

I finish the session impressed with the fit and interested in taking it on trips. This is an indoor first look, not an extreme-heat, battery-endurance or health-protection test.
