GARVEE Deep Fryer: A Big Basket and My First Assembly

Fitting the handles, feet and basket before the first cooking session.

Article published November 4, 2026.

This GARVEE fryer is bigger than I expect once it is on the table. It is my first deep fryer, and most of this session is getting the pieces out, fitting the handles and seeing how the basket and tank come apart.

Handles, feet and a removable tank

I take the top section off and find the side handles, rubber feet and basket handle among the accessories. The basket handle clips into place, then I fit the parts that let me move the assembled unit.

I also lift out the heating assembly and inner tank to show how the pieces separate. That is a look at the construction; I have not done a cooking-and-cleaning cycle yet.

The basket can sit above the tank

Once it is assembled, I show the basket hanging from its support position above the tank. I look at the cover and the temperature control, then explain the heating-cycle idea behind the thermostat.

I do not measure temperature accuracy or cook a batch in this recording. My comment about trying it with the family is what I want to do next.

A first assembly, with plenty of room

The size is the main impression I take away. The listed capacity and the space in the basket make this a different proposition from a small countertop appliance, but I do not run a capacity or performance comparison.

GARVEE supplied the fryer. The original product link and MIK10 code are below; the description supplies no discount amount or expiry, and the prices mentioned in the old video are not current quotes.
