WowCatch UV Bug Catcher: Looking at the Adhesive Sheet After About a Month
The recording shows a plug-in light trap, despite the roach-and-spider title.
Article published November 3, 2026.
This is one of the less glamorous gadgets to put in front of the camera, but it has something useful to show: the adhesive sheet after I say it has been in use for about a month.
The video title and description call it a roach-and-spider trap. The device I identify in the recording is the WowCatch UV bug catcher, with lights and a replaceable sticky insert. Those are different descriptions, so I am keeping that distinction clear.
The light and the replaceable sheet
I point out the LEDs inside and the slot for the adhesive film. I describe the insert as replaceable, correcting a moment where I start to call it rechargeable.
The mechanism is straightforward to look over: a lighted unit and a disposable surface for catching insects. This is not a demonstration of every trap listed in the original description.
A month of use is not an overnight result
I show the collected insects and explain that this represents about a month, not one night's miracle cleanup. That is the useful context for judging what is in the recording.
It is not a controlled pest-count study, and I do not establish pet or child safety, chemical composition or performance against every type of pest. The price I mention is historical rather than a current offer.
