AIPER Scuba X1: From the Charging Stand to the Pool Waterline

Trying waterline mode, watching the cleaner climb and opening the debris basket.

Article published November 4, 2026.

The part I want to try first on the AIPER Scuba X1 is the waterline mode. After opening the box and assembling the stand, I take the cleaner to the pool and watch it move toward the wall and climb.

Start with the stand and accessories

I fit the stand pieces together and look over the charging arrangement, handle and supplied retrieval hook. The hook is included, while the pole it attaches to is separate.

I also open the cleaner and look at the parts before moving outside for the actual pool session.

Waterline mode in the pool

I choose the waterline setting and put the cleaner in. It descends, moves toward the wall and uses its tracks to climb while the rollers work along the surface.

The recording includes that wall and waterline movement, plus an underwater view. I also see it move over the steps in this pool, while pointing out that navigating steps is different from a rated stair-cleaning function.

There is debris in the basket

After the run, I open the filter compartment and find material collected inside. I take out the additional filter insert and show the basket arrangement.

Those observations are the useful result: movement in this pool and debris in the filter. I do not measure suction flow, particle size, total coverage or water chemistry, and do not establish the same performance in every pool shape.

AIPER supplied the Scuba X1. The original official-store and Amazon referral links are below, along with the description's MIKE10T1 offer. No expiry is supplied.
