Seventour Powered Subwoofer: The Controls and Wired Remote

Opening the slim speaker-and-amplifier package before fitting it in the truck.

Article published November 3, 2026.

I had my truck in mind when I opened this Seventour powered subwoofer. The idea of combining the speaker and amplifier in a relatively slim enclosure was appealing because it gave me one main unit to plan around.

This was the unboxing and a tour of the controls. The actual truck installation and sound test were still ahead of me.

The enclosure feels substantial

The unit was heavy in the hand, with a metal-looking enclosure and grille. I liked the spider-style design and discussed its lighting, but I did not establish the exact alloy or verify thermal performance.

Whether it fits under a particular seat still depends on the vehicle and clearance. I had not measured and fitted it in my truck during this session.

The rear controls are worth looking at

I showed the phase, automatic power, low-pass, bass-boost and gain controls, along with the inputs, fuses and power terminals.

Then I opened the accessories, including the wiring pieces, mounting hardware and remote control. The remote was wired, which I clarified once I had it out of the package. It gives a control I could position nearer the seat instead of reaching the main unit.

I did not demonstrate the remote in use or verify compatibility with every stereo connection mentioned.

The power labels are not a measurement

The video title and description use 1,000 W, while I refer to 1,200 W when showing a listing and talking through the unboxing. I did not measure amplifier output or resolve which rating applies to the exact unit.

I would not turn either number into a continuous-power claim from this footage. The price I discussed was also the listing shown at the time.

The first look was useful for seeing the enclosure, connections and wired controller before planning the install. The actual fit, wiring and sound were separate jobs still ahead.
