We have looked at several small AI recorders on the channel, and the UMEVO Note Plus had two details that made me stop and look: a tiny screen with readable recording information, and the first-year transcription offer being advertised at the time.

This was a short unboxing. I handled the recorder, its controls and accessories; I did not demonstrate a completed recording-to-summary workflow in this video.

## A screen that says what mode it is in

The recorder had the thin, card-like shape familiar from this category, with a metal-looking enclosure and visible screws on the back.

I liked having a physical switch whose position I could see, plus a small screen showing the battery and recording mode in words. On some devices, it takes more interpretation to work out what a light is trying to tell you.

That is a hardware and interface observation. It does not establish recording quality, transcription accuracy or how a particular app handles stored audio.

## The charging cable and magnetic accessories

The included USB-A cable had a magnetic end that attached to the recorder. There was also a USB-C adapter, a leatherette-style case with an opening for the charging connection, and an adhesive magnetic ring for a phone case.

Those are useful pieces to see before deciding where the recorder would live. I did not test the attachment with every phone or case.

If you are comparing shapes and controls, my [BOYA Notra Neo first look](<https://pyrosoft.pro/blog/boya-notra-neo-unboxing-a-tiny-recorder-with-ai-notes-c5d7693d>) shows another approach to the same small-recorder idea. These are separate hands-on sessions, not a controlled comparison of their transcription services.

## Check the service terms separately from the hardware

At the time of recording, I discussed an offer for unlimited transcription during the first year. That stood out because ongoing service tiers can be a significant part of owning this type of recorder. I did not verify the offer's current availability, limits or renewal price here.

I also mentioned a Black Friday reduction in the video. There was no coupon code in the original description, and that historical sale is not a promise of today's price.

For this session, the screen and clear mode indication were my favorite physical details. Before relying on the service, check the current plan, privacy terms and the recording permissions needed for your intended use.
