Another EasySMX package lands on the unboxing table, and I do not know which controller is inside until I open it. This time it is the X15 Mecha, the black version with lighting spread across its body.

## Get it out of the box

I look over the listed connection options, then take out the manual, USB cable and small wireless receiver. The packaging describes wired and wireless use, but I am starting with a much simpler check.

I plug the USB-C cable into the controller and turn it on.

## That is a lot of color

The lighting starts up across the translucent sections of the shell. It is more of an all-over effect than just a ring around the sticks, which is the detail I want to show in this short video.

I mention the other color version and plans to look at the settings later. I do not go through the software or record gameplay tests in this unboxing.

## The hands-on testing is still ahead

EasySMX sent this one over. I want to spend time with the controls before saying how it performs in games; the first power-on does not establish latency, battery life or stick accuracy.
