It costs you nothing extra, and it has not changed what this article says — where a competitor is the better answer, we say so. A portable espresso maker is the kind of gadget that makes me stop and appreciate how spoiled we are by technology. For this OutIn Nano video, I open the kit, try a capsule and turn the shot into a small latte. ## Two ways to load coffee The package includes guides, a charging cable and adapters for ground coffee or a capsule. I show both approaches, but the brew I actually make in this session uses the capsule holder. The little cup fits into the portable arrangement, and the water tank has a fill mark. I follow the supplied setup for this unit before starting the heating-and-extraction cycle. ## Watch the progress, then the coffee The progress indicator runs while I wait. When the machine begins dispensing, I take a closer look at the espresso and comment on how good it smells. I describe it as hot and strong. Those are my immediate impressions, not temperature, extraction-pressure or battery-capacity measurements. The video does not include a separate ground-coffee brew. ## Make it a little more my style I add milk, some creamer and cold foam, then taste it. It is still strong enough that I mix it more and consider adding a little extra creamer. That part is very much a personal taste test. OutIn sent the Nano for the video. I also thank VegasNearMe during the introduction. The original Nano Amazon link is below. I later tried the [OutIn Mino]() as another portable espresso setup. This article stays with the capsule-and-latte session in the video above. ## Links from the video **Affiliate disclosure:** These links may earn me a commission at no extra cost to you. - [OutIn Nano original Amazon link]() Links and offers are from the video description.
