Battle Bot Arena Engine is about building a robot and finding out what it does when the arena pushes back. The October 12 milestone brought the 2.0.0 Unity build into a desktop browser, with an acceptance record that followed actual input and simulation behavior.

The build included Workshop, Garage, Tournament and Local Versus scenes. The browser checks covered choosing parts and paint, preflight, saving the bot and handing its file into Garage. From there, the test drove forward and backward, steered, activated the weapon and switched the arena.

The useful evidence went beyond a button press being sent. Recorded position and rotation changed, the weapon spun up, and the Forge burner produced damage during contact. The supplied acceptance also records AI, impact and detachment, knockout and reset behavior.

There were limits worth keeping attached to this milestone. Saved JSON persisted, but Workshop didn't have a Load control, so that wasn't proof of a complete re-edit workflow. Audible output, mobile input and optional online integration weren't qualified. The test also didn't establish a reliable foreground frame-rate benchmark.

One browser issue did lead to a concrete wrapper correction. A denied fullscreen request produced an uncaught error, so the page was changed to catch the denial and explain the fallback. The retest covered that failure path; successful native fullscreen remained a separate check.

What I like here is that the build was judged through the things you'd actually try: create a bot, bring it into the arena and see movement, weapon activity and damage. That gave the WebGL package a specific desktop qualification before the separate work of putting those exact files on the public site.
